I create eye-catching designs which are both pleasing to look at and easy to use. I place usability and accessibility at the heart of all my designs and code. Websites I create are coded using valid, well-structured XHTML and the latest CSS techniques to comply with web-standards.
Development
As well as creating the visual front of your website I can also provide you with a back end solution. Having a back end solution in place allows you to manage and update your content with ease. Depending on your project I can assist you in choosing between a ready built CMS (like Textpattern) or a bespoke CMS (created with PHP and MySQL).
SEO
As a free extra I utilise some basic search engine optismisation techniques that will make it easy for search engines to index your site and improve your rank. I will also submit your website to some major search engines.
Hosting
Finding a web host can be time consuming and confusing. If you need somewhere to host your website I can provide fast, reliable hosting at a very low annual cost. Ample web space and bandwidth will be allocated depending on the scale of your website and other services like email addresses can also be setup for no extra cost.
Branding
Creating a distinctive visual identity for yourself or your company is important to make your brand stand out from the crowd. I can create an identity which suits the aims and style of your company.

How much will it cost? Well, this all depends on the size of the project.
For a basic website pricing starts at around £200 and for more complex projects goes up to around £1000. It really does depend on the project so please contact me for a quote.

Timing
How long a project will take and when I can start depends on the project size and any current commitments I have but I would usually expect a project to take between 2 weeks and 2 months.
